The smell of frying latkes filled the air on Friday, Nov. 18 as Westridge geared up for the annual Yam Festival.
This year’s festival included a few twists such as an hole-in-the-face poster in which people could take pictures. In addition, there was a “Dad’s” table to honor the dads who came out to serve yam treats. Associated Student Body (ASB) President, Nathalie Sami ’12, also got the yam spirit going by wearing a yam mask throughout the day.
Check out pictures of the event on the accompanying slideshow. Until next year!
